Shoe In & UIU update

Honestly just wanted an excuse to use these cute shoe stamps.  LOL This is also a little homage to the fact I pulled a muscle in my leg and been limping around. No cute shoes for me unless they are flats.
Supplies: Strathmore Visual Journal 5.5" x 8" Watercolor 140lb, Distress Ink - Victorian Velvet, Tumbled Glass, Shabby Shutters, Stormy Sky & Broken China, Ranger Archival - French Ultramarine, Crafter's Workshop - Circle Grid & Cosmic Swirl, Prima Mask - Sublime Screen Mix 1, All Night Media - Sandy Clough Lillian, Love & Veronica Shoe Stamps, Sharpie Poster-Paint Marker - White (extra fine point), Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens big brush - various colors.

100% UIU

When I made my UIU pledge, I purposely made it hard on myself. I am very much a hoarder treasurer of art and craft supplies. While I knew cutting out all spending was unrealistic, it helped me to think twice about my purchases. Also in an effort to scale down my treasuring, I purged my unused supplies. I packed up several boxes and sent all the items away to be used.  For those catching Ustreams, you know where they went. I also started joining challenges as encouragement and inspiration to use up my supplies. One of the reasons my supplies have been neglected is that I fell into a rut and didn't know what to create. Having a deadline also helps. LOL As for purchases, yes I have made a few this past month (eg. Dylusions sprays, Seasonal Distress Inks). But unlike in the past, I actually have been using what I purchased. So looking back, I have made great strides. The goal the rest of the year, continue to create even more, spend even less.

Frozen in Time ATC

This week's Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge is your Favorite Stamp.  I love all my stamps, so this decision is really tough.  But there is one stamp I use time and time again, no pun intended, for backgrounds or just part of the stamp like in this ATC.  In the lower left hand corner is one of my favorite watches from Cherry Pie Art Stamps - Plate #6 Watches.
Supplies: Medium Weight Chipboard, Distress Ink - Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers & Faded Jeans, Ranger Archival - Blue Manganese, French Ultramarine, Cobalt & Jet Black, UTEE - Clear, Distress Embossing Ink, Perfect Pearls - Perfect Pearl, Turquoise & Pewter, Cherry Pie Art Stamps - Plate #6 Watches, Stampers Anonymous - Mini Ornates, Darkroom Door - Steampunk, Jim Stephan's Rubber Art Ink Stamp - Double Dial Wall Clock Seth Thomas.

It is a bit hard to capture how this ATC looks in real life. If you tilt it a certain way, you see the dimension and the stamped images in the background. But here is a close up of the sparkles.
